Carlton Sherwood calls POWs "the greatest to come out of my generation."
(1/14/2005) - In a speech delivered during the Restoration Weekend, Carlton Sherwood, after receiving the Annie Taylor Award, revered the POWs featured in his documentary Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal as "patriots", "men of action and courage" and "the greatest to come out of my generation of Vietnam Veterans."Sherwood also talked about his experience as a young newpaper reporter covering the anti-war movement in 1971 and gave insight as to his motivation for producing the influential documentary, Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal.
