Carlton Sherwood earns Annie Taylor Award
BOCA RATON, FL (11/23/2004) - At the annual Restoration Weekend, Carlton Sherwood, Producer of "Stolen Honor" earned an Annie Taylor Award for political courage.Mr. Sherwood endured personal attacks by the Kerry campaign and the mainstream media as well as lawsuits to tell the personal stories of Vietnam POWs who were betrayed by John Kerry.
During the award ceremony, James Warner, a fellow award winner and former POW featured in "Stolen Honor" announced: "The last mission of Vietnam War veterans ended on Nov. 3, at 2:08 p.m. Eastern Time, when John Kerry conceded the presidential race to George W. Bush."
As the presenters of this award acknowledged, this mission was accomplished in part by Carlton Sherwood and the supporters of "Stolen Honor.
